SB 534 -- NURSING HOMES

This bill adds two new definitions to the Omnibus Nursing Home
Act.  "Protective oversight" is defined as the 24-hour awareness
of the location of a resident and the ability to intervene and
supervise the nutrition, medication, and care of the resident.
"Voluntary leave" is defined as an off-premise leave initiated by
a competent resident or the legal guardian of an incompetent
resident.
